What Color is My Cat?

A colorful, fun presentation, based on Cat Genetics “101”, describing the fundamentals of identifying cat colors and patterns.
The presentation also discusses some of the most popular breeds of cats. With less than 5% of companion cats being an actual “breed” of cat, the common model of describing dogs in terms of combinations of “breeds”, doesn’t work in the world of cats.
Participants learn that “tabbies” are not a breed of cat but all cats are tabby cats! What’s the difference between a tortie and a calico, why do some white kittens have a little black mark on the top of their heads, what do all pointed cats have in common? Participants learn the answers and much more.
