National Kitten Coalition Veterinary Conference – October 2024

The National Kitten Coalition Veterinary Conference (NKCVC) is intended for veterinarians, veterinary technicians/nurses, those currently enrolled in veterinary or veterinary technician schools, veterinary staff members in private practices and shelters, and those involved in veterinary education and research.

The National Kitten Coalition is an American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) approved provider for RACE® CE, and presentation abstracts, quiz questions, and speaker CVs will be submitted to the AAVSB for continuing education credit review.  Presentations for NCKVC should “maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, professional performance, and relationships veterinarians and veterinary technicians/technologists use to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession.” Sessions can fall under the following categories; Medical Programs or Non-Medical Programs (Practice Management/Professional Development/ Professional Wellness).

Thank you for your interest in speaking at the 2024 National Kitten Coalition Veterinary Conference (NKCVC) being held on Sunday, October 20, 2024!

The NKCVC is a kitten-focused, virtual event intended for veterinarians, veterinary technicians/nurses, those currently enrolled in veterinary or veterinary technician schools, veterinary staff members in private practices and shelters, and those involved in veterinary education and research.

All speaking proposals on kitten-related topics from veterinarians, PhD researchers, and credentialed technicians/nurses are welcomed.

Presentations should be specific to kitten care, from developmental and social/behavioral information to medications, medical protocols, surgical techniques, or presentations of research findings.

You will receive an email confirmation after you have submitted your proposal. Each submission will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified of the review committee's decision. Proposals will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Submit now to secure your spot!

“I understand that a speaker honorarium of $300 per session hour has been set aside for each 2024 NCKVC session (i.e., a maximum of $150/30-minute session or $300/ 60-minute session. Honorariums will be split equally for sessions with more than one presenter), and I agree that, if selected to present, I will commit to speaking on Sunday, October 20, 2024, and will make every effort to comply with all speaker deadlines before the conference.”
